Our Story
Our story began during a remodel of our family home, the Lone Oak ranch in Southern California. We wanted bathrooms that were both beautiful and functional, designed to support us as we aged and to welcome family if they ever needed to move in. We chose zero-threshold showers, handheld nozzles, and clean, modern finishes—spaces that felt safe yet stylish.
But we hit one major disagreement: grab bars. With my background in walk-in bath design, I knew how important they were for safety. My wife, however, resisted. “I don’t want our bathrooms looking like a hospital,” she said. And she was right. What we found on the market at the time was practical, but cold and institutional.
That moment sparked an idea. Why couldn’t grab bars be both safe and beautiful—something people would be proud to have in their homes? From that question, LifeValet™ was born. We developed the first “Tile-Ready” grab bar, designed with a customizable face cavity that blends seamlessly into its surroundings, along with our Vibe and Harmony collections—products that prove safety and style can truly go hand in hand.
What began as a disagreement in our remodel became our mission: to reimagine accessibility products so that aging in place feels empowering, not limiting.
